Booking and Use of Music Rehearsal Space
- Booking Confirmation:
- Upon confirmation of your booking you will receive a booking confirmation email.
- You will receive a further email with detailed instructions including access codes and location information 2 hours before your session.
- Access Codes:
- Studio Access Code: Sent to you via email, 2 hours before your session, the code is valid only during your booking slot.
- You receive one code for the front door and your rehearsal room.
- In case of non-receipt of the studio door code 2 hours before your booking, contact us.
- Arrival Protocol:
- Please proceed directly to the designated rehearsal space as per the provided instructions.
- Please only park in the designated bays where possible. The bays labelled B for unit B, or in front of the unit itself.
- Do not park in front of our entry door. This is a fire exit and needs to be kept clear so people can load equipment in and out.
- Only allow access to your fellow bandmates / booking guests.
- Ensure the front door is closed once you’ve loaded in before you start rehearsing.
- Closure Obligation:
- It is mandatory to shut both the studio front door and your rehearsal room door at the conclusion of your session.
- Failure to comply with this requirement may result in a penalty fee of up to £500.
- Responsibility:
- There will be no on-site staff available during your session.
- You are responsible for your own access.
- You are responsible for ensuring you only allow access to your fellow bandmates / booking guests.
- You are responsible for your rented equipment during your booking.
- You are responsible for ensuring your room door and the front door are shut when leaving.
- Location:
- Silent Hill Studios, Unit B Perram Works, Merrow Lane, Guildford, GU4 7BN
- Cancellation Policy:
- Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours prior to your scheduled session to avoid being charged in full.
- Cancellations can be made online via the Skedda booking system. Alternatively, please notify us via email or phone. Please note – if you cancel via phone / email / Whatsapp, your booking is not cancelled until you have received a cancellation confirmation email from us.
- Cancellations within 48 hours of your session will be charged in full and are not eligible for refund for any reason.
- SFR Studios Ltd, trading as ‘Silent Hill Studios’ reserves the right to cancel bookings at any time.
- Studio Maintenance:
- Fair Wear and Tear: Reasonable wear and tear is acceptable. Any damage caused by misuse or intentional acts may incur repair or replacement costs.
- Cleaning Fee: Failure to leave the rehearsal space in a tidy condition may result in a cleaning fee of up to £300 being charged.
- Security Deposit:
- A security deposit may be required for certain bookings. This deposit will be refunded in full upon satisfactory inspection of the premises after your session.
- All card details from the booker are security kept in our payment gateway (Stripe), cards may be charged if required.
- Noise Regulations:
- Please respect noise regulations and be considerate of neighbouring properties and occupants when arriving and leaving the premises.
- Equipment Use:
- Only use equipment that you are familiar with and have received permission to use.
- Any damage to equipment due to misuse will be the responsibility of the individual or group using the space.
- Personal Belongings:
- SFR Studios Ltd, trading as ‘Silent Hill Studios’ is not responsible for any loss or damage to personal belongings left unattended on the premises.
- Indemnification:
- Users of the rehearsal space agree to indemnify and hold harmless SFR Studios, trading as: Silent Hill Studios against any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from their use of the facilities.
- Agreement to Terms:
- By booking and using the rehearsal space, you agree to abide by these terms and conditions.
We reserve the right to deny or withdraw access to our facilities at any time, at our sole discretion, should we deem it necessary or appropriate.
