ROOM 2 – REHEARSAL GUIDE

Leads and cables
XLR cables, plus spare jack, speaker/speakon and kettle leads are hanging up, left of the door.
Any lead used from here must be returned.

Kettle (power) cables and speaker leads for the amps will be either on top or plugged in.

Microphones
There are 4 rehearsal vocal microphones left of the mixing desk. If you need any more mics please whatsapp or call us – 01483 399362

Mic Stands
There are 4 stands hanging on the wall left of the door. If you need any more mic stands please whatsapp or call – 01483 399362

Mixing Desk

Turn on the plug above the mixing desk. Plug the Mic in at the top of the desk with XLR found above the desk. Turn up the GAIN to about 25%. Make sure Mute (white button) isn’t pressed down. Set the level with the channel fader. Set L+R red master faders to about 0.

Use AUX 1 & 2 to send the single to the floor speakers.

Speakers
Turn the stand speakers on at the wall next to the speaker, make sure they are switched on at the back of the speaker so the white light at the front is on. The floor speakers power are turned on above the mixing desk and volume is set using AUX 1 & 2 levels on the mixing desk.

Amps
TC Electronic bass amp – 

Make sure the kettle (power) lead is plugged into the back left of the amp.

Ensure speaker (speakon) cabled is plugged into the back of head and cabinet.

Plug jack lead from instrument into amp front left input. Switch the power at the back of the head.

If there is no sound make sure the TUNE/mute small black button isn’t activated (located above the bass and lo-mid tone control).

Marshall TSL Guitar Amp – 

Make sure the kettle (power) lead is plugged into the back right of the amp head. Ensure speaker lead is plugged into the 16 ohm right socket on the cabinet and the 16ohm sockets in the back of the head.

Plug jack lead from instrument to the right Input socket of the front of the amp.

Switch red power on at the front left and wait to warm up for a minute then switch standby on.

Fender Deluxe chorus combo guitar amp – 

Make sure power lead is plugged into a socket.

Plug jack lead from instrument to the left Input socket of the front of the amp.

Switch amp using the far right hand ON/OFF switch and let it warm up for a minute and then switch the standby on.

Drums
Please be respectful of the drum kit.
After use, put back the felts and high-hat clutch onto the stands. Cymbals are in black soft case next to the kit, if you use them please return to the bag.

Extra equipment
You should have two music stands and guitar stands and a fan in the room. If you require any other equipment please contact us on whatsapp or call – 01483 399362.

AT THE END OF SESSION PLEASE RETURN EVERYTHING TO WHERE IT WAS FOUND AND TURN ALL PLUGS AND LIGHTS OFF
